Meet Us at DISCOP Istanbul 2014

Fantawild Animation will be attending DISCOP Istanbul 2014 from March 4th to 6th at Booth S76 at Istanbul Convention & Exhibition Center.

As usual, we’ll bring our finest animated productions to the fair for both our old and new clients.

The latest animated film Boonie Bears: To the Rescue!has led to the following outstanding achievements: it broke Chinese box-office records for opening-day screenings upon its release on January 17, 2014; its earnings exceeded one hundred million yuan within three days of release and in total it has made around 250 million yuan at the Chinese cartoon box-office. The bear movie is now the most well-known Chinese animated film with the biggest box-office in China.

Topping the list are the Boonie Bears series, now a phenomenon both on the small and big screens in China. The series include the following animated TV shows: Boonie Bears, Boonie Bears or Bust, Boonie Bear: Forest Frenzy soon to be released, and the fourth which will be in production within this year; and two feature films: Boonie Bear: Homeward Journeyfrom last year and the latest Boonie Bears: To the Rescue! Ever since their premier, the series have achieved enormous success as the hottest animated shows in China. Among other well-received productions, Fantawild’s bug show, Pondemonium, is also a big TV success. Sequel of the hit show Brainy Bubbly Bug Buddies, it made its way to the official selection for Italy’s Pulcinella Awards 2012.
